Here’s a great idea for you… If you’re not sure where and if you want to permanently wall-mount your YOLO Compost Tumbler, hang it. George and Joan have ‘hung’ their medium-size YOLO Compost Tumbler from their wall. This is a great way to elevate it (easy to empty into a wheelbarrow below) and you can move your YOLO to a different location each season if it gets too much shade.
George used 4mm steel rod encased in plastic, which he fashioned into hooks. These pre-cast walls are not that strong so he will keep an eye on the wall as the weight of the shells increase. An engineer, he has a plan to strengthen the structure if needed.
