How much organic kitchen waste do you generate?

Do you think that you do not generate enough organic kitchen waste to warrant getting a YOLO Compost Tumbler? Try this.

During this week, place your organic waste into a tub, instead of throwing it into the bin. We can only appreciate how much organic waste we actually generate when organics are separated. Even if you buy mostly pre-packaged veg, try it.

Focus just on your kitchen and set aside organics like these: apple cores, orange peels, banana skins, potato peels, gem squash shells, egg shells, egg cartons, mielie cobs, avo skins and pips, nut shells, onion skins, carrot tops, tomato trimmings, ends from baby marrows, cabbage cuttings, old lettuce, the tops-and-tails from beans, coffee grounds, tea bags and the like.

ALL of this can be tossed into your YOLO Compost Tumbler. There is no minimum limit as to ‘enough’ and having little waste just means that each YOLO shell takes longer to fill.
