Rob has just dropped me a note as he wants to get a second single YOLO Compost Tumbler. He was one of our first customers back in late March. He lives on his own and is using his YOLO for kitchen waste. As materials are decomposing continuously and reducing in volume, it has taken him five months to fill his YOLO! That’s incredible.
We recommend that you go for a double unit. The small is the only one that also has a single shell version -for convenience. If you already have a compost heap or if you are using a bigger YOLO in your garden, then it is convenient to have the single shell outside your kitchen door. For everything else, a double shell unit is essential. When the first shell is full and needs time for the last-added materials to mature, then you need to start adding material to your second shell.
